About Fable

Fable makes hand-dyed, hand-sewn women's clothing in small batches. Each piece is dyed by hand in Bali using a resist-dye process — which means no two pieces are exactly alike. The variation is the point.

Production happens in Bali with a family-run maker we work with directly. Creative direction comes from Melbourne. Every colourway, every silhouette, every detail is selected before a single piece is cut.

Fable exists because Australian women deserve clothing that is genuinely made — not produced in thousands and marked up for a story. Small batch means we make 30–50 pieces per design. When they're gone, they're gone.

We are not a Bali market brand. We are something smaller, and we think that's worth something.
